The main objectives of the American Studies Institute
are:
1. To promote better understanding between the Palestinian
people and the people of the United States of America. a wide
variety of approaches to understand American culture, politics
and society are explored and a large number of different
disciplines are involved.
2. To stimulate and strive
for a better appreciation for the American political and cultural
experience.
3. To strengthen the qualifications and
skills of Palestinian scholars in American Studies.
